George N. Liberis, MD, FACS

Dr. Liberis is a general surgeon, Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, holding licenses to practice medicine and surgery in the states of New York, New Jersey and Maryland since 1986.

Dr.Liberis has also been a Board Certified surgeon in Greece. Dr. Liberis operates at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY 10901.

Dr. Liberis is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. He is Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery, New York Medical College. He received his M.D. from the University of Athens and completed his Doctorate of Science with a dissertation on “Complement Activation in the Septic Patient”.

Dr. Liberis completed his residency in General Surgery at Westchester Medical Center, where he also completed a Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care, giving him the opportunity to be an Intensivist as well as a General Surgeon.

Dr. Liberis speaks English, Italian, Greek and Spanish.
